Sure it was. I'll give her that. But now put her in full-gear(helmet, uniform, boots, rucksack and so on) along with a rifle and sidearm, have the dude in full gear, add a chaotic, loud, noisy environment with bullets flying, bombs going off, dust, dirt, it's uncomfortably hot(or uncomfortably cold), people screaming, etc. In training, they simulate all of these kinds of horrible scenarios, so that when people are actually in them, they're not freaked out and they know exactly what to do. I give McCormack credit for actually carrying that guy as many women and some men,too-wouldn't even be able to LIFT him, let alone carry him. But she's doing it in a comfortable and stable environment and if she were a SEAL or in a special operations unit, those are not generally the kinds of circumstances in which she would be lifting the guy.

I'm not a veteran myself but I am thinking of joining the army reserve and I was just about to write that exact same statement that you just wrote and others on here have said it as well, I've noticed. You never ask someone who has served or who is still serving(active duty), that question. The expression on Mark Divine's face when they asked him that question said it all. Also, while Mark Divine himself, has seen combat, I don't think people realize that not every job in the military is related to combat-as one female British military officer said(and interestingly enough, the people in the British Armed Forces get asked those same kinds of questions by civilians), ''not everyone is at the pointy end''. What did Chelsea and Mary think Divine was going to say when they asked him that? Why would he ever answer a question like that? Granted, it is important to note that there are veterans including notable ones like the late Carlos Hathcock, the late Chris Kyle, Nicholas Irving, Jim Webb, ,Tim Kennedy, Nate Fick, Dr.Howard Wasdin, Robert O'Neill,etc, who will volunteer or who have volunteered, the information themselves on what they did in their military careers and if they killed people and how many and it's the same with military veterans in other countries, as well but again, don't ask veterans how many people have they killed.
