Loved the episode, been watching the series since the beginning and this was by far the best one because it is something you know is close to his personal experiences as well. The episode is a little generalized, at least to an Indian like me. It's understandable, considering there is a hell of a lot of topics given India's massive diversity and complexity and Hasan was making this episode for global audiences. I would also have liked if he could have given a little more thought over the incompetence of Rahul Gandhi and the opposition, which is a major reason why people might vote for Modi again. It's not exactly a Trump vs Clinton situation, but it is definitely a case where you have to choose between a nationalist right-wing against a corrupt incompetent politician. It's utterly amazing how the best alternative to John Oliver right now is an Indian Muslim! I hope Oliver covers Indian elections too, and well as Johnny Harris from Vox Borders, who will be soon visiting the country.

Well, I am in India and let me just tell the viewers that in terms of comedy it was good, but he is using wrong facts and the video is full of propaganda. I can easily feel that he is indirectly blemishing India in Modi's rule and that not even close to reality. Here in India everyone loves Modi and every minority group is safe. Also, the simple truth is when Tharoor met this comedian, they strike out the deal to create some funny anti-Modi video, surely he is paid a lots of money for this video. Well, that's business, quite obvious to understand.

India actually has a history of Christianity for over 2000 years. Because India’s majority are Hindus, Christians are often overlooked. All of my Indian relatives are Christians. A true Indian is whatever faith they choose to be.
