Also, they should change some scenes that are too over the top with something more subtle, like Luffy saying YES WE WILL! During Nami's scene. It worked in the manga but came off a bit too cringy in the LA. A more subtle serious nod would work, like how they made Sanji say goodbye to Zeff instead of doing a full on Dogeza. Besides that, it's freaking perfect.

I love that they saved the title shot with Luffy's jolly roger (with the straw hat on) until the very last episode, at the end of it. The Strawhat crew was finally - and only - complete then, and it felt completely well earned. We were all cheering with Luffy. Netflix did the impossible this time. I feel like the success of this show is just like when Luffy one day proves that the One Piece is real by succeeding at the impossible.

I have no clue if it was done on purpose, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was..... But I love the fact that the only time 'we are' is heard in this show..... is during the two scenes where the full crew is on Merry. I love that so so much.

Despite "We Are" the most popular opening. I hope other opening songs like "Believe in Wonderland", "Hikari E" and many others can be included as well to represent each arc/seasons. Since Season 2 may be based on Loguetown arc, i hope "Believe in Wonderland" can be played in the same vein as "We Are"

It's so rare! I thought years ago, making a One Piece live action adaptation is impossible. Much harder than anything else because of its world, unique characters, properly adapting the story. Sure, there are lots of changes yet they nailed it mostly. Not perfect but still, super enjoyable. Passion project with a high budget.
