@@lailadurczak5660 while filming one of the maze runner movies, he was in an accident during a stunt and had a near death experince. He wasnt filming for months after it.

@@lailadurczak5660 He was filming for the death cure and he was supposed to do a stunt where he jumped from a truck to a train but he messed up and got dragged under the truck. He hit his head on the cement and blacked out. Supposedly everyone who saw it thought that he was dead. He had a concussion, he broke the entire right side of his face and he had somewhat severe brain trauma. He ended up going into emergency surgery to save his face and he was unconscious for a couple of days. He took over a year to recover and he thought he was going to quit acting forever but then he decided it was best to finish what he started. I believe he took a break to film American assassin then went back to filming the Death Cure but he struggled with extreme PTSD and anxiety. He reportedly said that it took him months just to build up the courage to put his characters clothes on let alone actually go to work. His major injuries and his mental health after everything was also the main reason he didn’t appear much in Teen Wolf season 6.

I just knew he had a very bad accident with a Car during the filming and that he had Problems after that with anxiety etc., he couldn't talk about it and that he had to recover for a long time and that's it, no other details about it.

@@dag0009 there was a scene on a train in the movie death cure where he was supposed to jump of a car, but he was pulled off from the car at the wrong time and was hit by another car. He passed out and everyone thought "that was it". It took him 6 months to recover and that's why the movie was so delayed. He's really uncomfortable talking about it and suffered from PTSD for a while after it happened.

Yep 👍 I wasn't too sure about this movie since I saw the trailer last year, but I watched it for Dylan (honestly, absolutely fantastic actor and all around wholesome guy) and I'm so glad I did. It was goofy, had plenty of humour, it was adventurous with the right amount of blood and gore and guts and slimy icky stuff, brilliantly detailed and ironically believable 😊😄

@@hannahp1212 to be more specific, I believe the stunt involved Dylan jumping from one car to another, but the cables that held him snapped and he ended up getting hit by the car (maybe ran over?) and received a massive concussion and fractured in his face. He needed months of therapy and facial reconstruction surgery to get better. Meanwhile all of this he considered abandoning acting due to the experience
