I really like this scene breakdown for a few reasons: 1. It was a pretty physical scene but with mainly only four actors. 2. Some viewers are surprised at Charlie Heaton's real accent and discover that he's actually English. 3. We learn about the important need for stunt doubles even when the characters are only tossed across short distances in a small room. 4. We learn that foam props can look convincingly real, like the fire extinguisher. 5. Stair scenes can be repetitive and taxing. 6. We get to appreciate that seemingly simple shots can be the result of a cameraman's feat, like running backwards with a steady cam. 7. The focus here is on the two relatively young rising actors but through them we can appreciate what experienced actors can bring to the table even in minor roles, as exemplified by the two older men (Michael Park and Jake Busey, son of Gary Busey). They give pointers and confidence to the younger actors, like telling them not hold back when hitting someone with props, continuing after taking a slammed door in the face or soldiering through a scene while having shards of prop glass embedded in the skin.

I feel this is arguably one of the best sequence in the entire show. Its eerie, its dark, because this is the third season we tend to easily connect and empathize with the characters. I was blown away by the choreography and the tension it builds up then has a set up and payoff. Just mind blowing

It almost all took place over like 2 days, the whole bad Russians thing was too cliche, the mind flayed possession thing felt repetitive, and there was less character development and exploration in this season.
