To everyone disappointed about Nick’s scene not being here: the show just came out (no pun intended), so everyone at Netflix probably wants people to watch it in the context of the show. That’s most likely why they left it out of this compilation of coming out moments.

Happy Pride, I was once asked for moral support to one of my beautiful friends to come out to parents, and I very happily agreed to help. I don't judge, I offer complete support. I have met alot of beautiful people in LGBTQ+ community and I am a proud Ally. I always vote for rights for every person I know. I'm happy to use their pronouns and new names as a show of respect. Thank you Beautiful People for being wonderful people

you don't owe it to anyone to come out to them and if you do, do it for yourself, be proud of who you are, honest. I came out a couple of years ago now and it's very freeing, but do think to make sure you have a safety blanket to fall back on if necessary!

here are the identities for each character (from what i can tell) 0:00 gay 1:40 gay 2:55 trans 4:15 gay 6:26 bisexual (this is her telling her father she's dating a girl) 7:53 lesbian 9:39 bisexual so the count is 1 lesbian, 3 gay men, 2 bisexuals, and 1 trans individual. needs some more diversity unfortunately, but this is progress. also, there are parents at 4:15, 7:53, and 9:39 that are uh...not super accepting, so trigger warning for that.
