Happy to review another Spiderweb Software game .....I'm gonna post what I did on my community tab yesterday for those that didn't see ... A lot of people have been asking and yes ...I am reviewing the Outer Worlds ..and it aint gonna take years .. I'm currently working on a review that should be out by the end of the month but after that ..my focus is gonna be on reviewing Outer Worlds.. I rarely get games on release but even rarer than that .. review a game shortly after release .the last time was Underrail ...and that was 3 years ago ..Outer Worlds is the second time im reviewing a game shortly after release on this channel but ...Its the product of Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky ..and I'm gonna have a long review of it ..you know how i do it ..ill say how i feel about it ..blunt and no BS ...so . like with my other reviews im taking my sweet time ...most likely end of December or Sometime in January ... but i promise You'll enjoy it ..maybe ill have a video in between ...but im not sure about that And yes I dont like the fact it aint on steam or GOG on release ..my BF got it for me on PS4 cause my PC cant run it and even if it could I aint buying from the epic store ...I buy most of my PC games on GOG now ..cause to me ..DRM Free is the only way to be ...Im not happy about that and I will say something about that in the review but ..my focus is on how i feel about the game .. For those that feel real strongly about it not being on GOG Or Steam on release .. I totally understand why you're upset ...I dont like having a billion launchers ...Support GOG ...support DRM Free for most or all of your purchases!

Thanks for the review! It's great to see you out with another video. I just watched your video about Spiderweb Software yesterday, for the second time, so this was some pretty cool timing. I've been watching some GDC talks and such with the living legend himself, Jeff Vogel, and I really want to play one of his games for the masses, lol. I'm just so busy with everything else I'm playing, plus squeezing Outer Worlds into the lineup on Thursday. But his games just fascinate me. I love a good story in my RPGs! Keep on keepin' on. :)

I have Outer Worlds installing now. Wooooh! Thanks! Yeah, I'm loving the Tremere. I went for the "homosexual" background as well, though it doesn't seem to have changed much in the game. I suck (no pun intended) with the seduction, but the gunslinging is going well. I'm doing pretty good, and I hope you're doing the same. :)

Che, I don't remember if I recomended this before but for the sake of roleplaying you should do a review of the Neverwinter Nights (original NOT EE) module "A Dance With Rogues" (aviable at Neverwinter Vault).

Never played an old CRPG before, just picked this up on gog, and really liked a lot of things about it. Started the quest and went out to the pit with goblins, and they 2 hit my whole party, I loaded my save from before and tried to venture back, a band of goblins wiped my party. What do I have to do? Grind in a starting area or smething?

Be fair, it was a very low budget title in a time when there were no "RPG Maker-ish" programs out there, the people behind it had to code everything from scratch and on top of that, RPGs on PC were selling pretty much badly in contrast with the console market. For instance, games like Baldur's Gate (1998) looked way more polished because Black Isle was throwing money and input into BIoware's development team, something that Spider Web never had.

Spiderweb Software is run by Jeff Vogel and I believe most or even all of the games are made just by him ..so its really low budget in terms of presentation

Yeah this company is a one or two man show (his wife being the other), so- they're super low budget. He did a talk at the game developers conference that is pretty entertaining: just search Failing to Fail: The Spiderweb Software Way
