I’m giving up Netherite tools FOREVER.

Netherite is simply not worth it in minecraft anymore! It too difficult to make, for not enough benefits! And so, in my Forevercraft series and All other minecraft worlds I play in, I will no longer be using Netherite! Im hanging it up! quitting!
This is a video on the Forevercraft minecraft server, where my friends and I are playing on the same server "Forever."
Ever since I found HermitCraft I have been intrigued and wanting to make my own content just like my favorite hermits: @Gri@Grian @ThatMumboJumbo @GoodTimesWithScar and the others! And so, I will continue making content on this server until I can Call myself one of the best! (I may never reach that Haha)

You know what. I never thought of it that way. Also, if you add the custom armor stands thing from vanilla tweaks, you can display them on tripwire hooks. I think it's a preset!

I agree so much as the only benefit is for pvp (which i don't do) and lava resistance. But i lose my gear to it despawning not burning so it doesn't matter.

i think netherite being mainly just a flex *is* the point of it; the whole game was already balanced around diamond, but people wanted new armour so mojang eventually added it, and made it only slightly better to maintain balance. also the fact that it's harder to lose (especially in the nether) is nice. i think the current difficulty to obtain is good, and i probably won't ever get a smithing template myself either! if they (finally) do a combat update, it would be good timing to add an even higher tier of armour (since balance changes can be made simultaneously), for players even more skilled and dedicated than required for netherite. if mojang did an end update at the same time (or, a new dimension through the ancient city portal), that would make way for a new level of difficulty that gives the new armour resource when you conquer it (in the same way that conquering end cities gives you elytra and bastions gives you netherite). for players who aren't interested, they can continue to live peacefully in the overworld, in diamond armour, since the overworld is already balanced to work well for normal survival protection.

But smithong templates are extremely common in Bastions. And once you get it, you can craft a near infinite amount of them.

You're joking right? Do you seriously not know that netherite spawns as Ancient Debre underground in the nether? Just use beds to explode the netherrack, and you'll be able to find so much ancient debre in a small amount of time.

​@Platostorm It's really not, you can easily clear out a Bastion with a bow and arrows, and build blocks in certain ways where piglins can't touch you, but you can hit them. You are playing Minecraft, nothing is limiting you from easily destroying enemies.

I agree that netherite is not worth it but I still wish that Minecraft was harder to get good rewards it just is too easy. I wish it was even harder. Great video keep it up.

This video is dumb and makes zero sense. You can easily get Ancient Debre for netherite from under the Nether without going to Bastions. And if we are talking Smithing Templates, they are extremely common in Bastions, and you can easily craft 2 of them. Netherite Armor and Tools are most definitely worth the upgrades.

In the current version of Minecraft you have to go into bastions to get a netherite upgrade template.
