I always loved reading about our history, (self study). With this programme learning history has become alive and enjoyable again. How this learned professor tables his theories with simple, scientific approach with no hidden agendas what so ever , In my opinion its simply the best history programme ever aired . Well done Neth FM team and Prof. Raj Somadeva. Love it so much each week I share the link on my FB .

Most valuable program in any media. Thanks Nuwan & Our professor. Both of you have become OUR with this event
I am a great fan of this series. For the first time, history, in its true sense is being taken to the masses of Sri Lanka. Please accept my heartiest congratulations Professor Raj Somadeva, a scholar par excellence who i much respect and admire, Nuwan and the Neth FM team for this immeasurable service to the nation. Thank you all. I have one question for Professor Somadeva. I understand that Emperor Claudius Caesar reigned from 41-54 AD. If so, is it not more likely that it was Bhathika Tissa the First (39-67 AD) who sent the embassy to Rome? As opposed to Bathika Tissa II (202-226 AD)? Also I would like to know if Roman corals have been unearthed in excavations at Anuradhapura and elsewhere in Sri Lanka. Many thanks once again.

Monday 7.30-9.00pm everyone has a chance to participate for life university session every human shuld follow. No educational qualifications required. Only thing should have a BRAIN. Even politicians are welcome. With this program I feel I am thousands years of age and I have gone lot of years throug the future. Respect both of you. My favourite program NETH FM UNLIMITED HISTORY. I am a (SRILANKAN) PHARMACIST
You mentioned a diplomatic delegation went to Rome during king Vasaba’s reign. I am so anxious to know which route they took. Did they go round the African continent and entered the Mediterranean Sea through the Gibraltar strait or did they have another route? Please give me an answer. You do not have to mention my name if you prefer. Thanks Elaine Saparamadu.
I found this video about the history of Sri Lanka. Search for "History of Sri Lanka and the Family Tree of Sri Lankan Kings". It has a list in the form of a poster showing the order of rulers in Sri Lanka starting from Vijaya. May be this is helpful to those who are interested in the history of Sri Lanka. Please note I am NOT promoting the video or agreeing with the content of it 100%.

The cover image of the Unlimited History videos has an image of an Australian aborigine if I am not mistaken. As far as I could find this image is of an actor (of Australian aboriginal descent) named David Gulpilil and the image is from his character in the movie "Australia", I fully accept the fact that it is your right to put any image as the cover for videos produced by you. However, if the intension was to put an image of a Veddah in Sri Lanka there couldn't it be done in a more suitable way?

If true, i'm not surprised since sadly many Sri Lankans do not appreciate anything local & always looking + appreciating anything foreign

J.R's era he wanted to keep History subject away from education stream.
Prof 's explanation regarding History is extremely important to avoid mistakes made in the past being repeated.a good example is a bone of contention in present times "muturajawela". The canals built by the Dutch in srilanka applied their own understanding of Dutch canal building ideology.for profit.very similer to what's happening now.mistakes made inthe past can be repeated irrespective of skin colour in the name of "development"
