Beautiful story and narration. I like my stories with bombast and edgy as much as the next guy but sometimes, a story about normal people doing their best has their charms.

I really, really liked this story! The writing was excellent and the details of the events made me feel I was there. I really hope to see a small series made out of this. Her recovery, their role in helping her and then their quest to find and slaughter the pirates.

Someone didnt keep track of the power sources. The tablet was power source 4 (the heater in the cockpit, the coffee pot in the kitchen, and the laptop).

Feels like it could have come from the Firefly universe. I really like the detail and slight "hardening" of the science fiction in this one - e.g. powering up cold electronics would kill them, the artificial gravity and where mag boots do or don't work.

It's dusty in here. Good story, but where's the rest of it!? Please use larger print for the video screen font! My vision isn't up to reading fonts the size of one atomic particle. Had to read the transcript instead, and that font isn't much bigger. It also has more spelling errors. I'm using a 10 inch tablet, and I did go into settings to enlarge the font, but unfortunately, I can only change the size of the main font, not the screen text font on KZbin videos. I can hear the audio part, but sometimes my brain wants the sound off. Other times, the sound isn't clear enough, but either way, the solution is to read the text, unless it's flea sized. I guess I should count my blessings, because one eye is going blind, I'm going deaf in one ear, and the other 2 aren't in mint condition, but I can still hear and see out of them. By the way, if the hearing in one of your ears is worse in one ear, go into Settings/Accessibility and one of the subsections has controls that let you rebalance the speakers on your tablet, so you can make it louder on your bad side.😊
