Hi, do you know if you can use grouping in a data set? I realize you can group in the workbook, but I need to group on grouped data (if that makes sense) so I'm hoping to group in the dataset, and then group again in the workbook using the results grouped in that data set. Thanks, great videos!

Hi Jeru, that's a good question. I've never tried to do two levels of grouping. It may not be directly possible, but I'm pretty sure you could rearrange things in the dataset until it achieved the basic concept. I'm found that while there aren't many people that have extensive knowledge of SuiteAnalytics, if you just play around with it for awhile you can get it to do most things you want.

hi bro, one doubt.. in the saved Message search, I have all the outreach email. While replicating in netsuite analytics, the message dataset field is empty. Please any suggestions to solve this.

@@SuiteCris I tried to create a list of emails sent in Suite Analytics. I selected the Message dataset and dragged and dropped the fields. However, it returned zero rows, despite the fact that the email data is available. Thanks much for helping.

Hi Sujin, There are a few things that could be going wrong, but the most likely is that there is some criteria added that is excluding everything. Try to strip back the dataset to only include date (anything before today) and entity (include All Entities). Make sure these fields are added to the columns of the dataset and aren't dropped in as "AND" criteria (which happens if you drop the fields into the top row of the dataset). If that doesn't work, try tinkering around, removing things, adding them into different places if possible, etc. Again, it's hard to say definitively without looking at your Dataset, but you get the idea.

I attempted to create workbook report having three columns, count of emails, opps amount, count of event. These three columns are not related to each other I just want to join by month Sry for troubling you.... I couldn't find any resources in google.. And I'm new to netsuite... :))

Whoa, I never knew I had a second brother! How did you find me?! Funny enough, the SuiteAnalytics Certification has nothing to do with SuiteAnalytics. The exam only covers Reports, Saved Searches and Dashboard portlets/KPIs. It's definitely one of the easier certifications as you really just need to spend time getting familiar with those tools. You can certainly check out my Administrators Course, where I have about 10 videos covering Reports and Saved Searches, that will help. Within the next few months I'll do a course on passing the SuiteAnalytics certification.

Thankyou for your prompt replies, I meant to say that we have lot of data related to Sales and Marketing, Procurement and sourcing etc in netsuite- Can you make make some projects related to actual data analysis for specific scenarios like to measure vendor performance or sales analysis in past few years or months and also inventory optimization as per the sales demand by using tools in netsuite analytics like datasets, workbooks, reports and dashboards?
