In this tutorial, I'll explain what NetSuite bundles are and how you can install them to enhance your NetSuite system. NetSuite bundles are essentially packages that include customizations, scripts, and configurations. These can be created by users to share solutions across different NetSuite environments or distributed by Oracle NetSuite as standardized packages for common business needs.
We'll start by accessing the Suite Bundler tool within NetSuite, which is used to manage the installation and updates of these bundles. Some bundles are publicly available for any user to install, while others may be private, restricted to specific organizations or clients.
First, navigate to 'Customization', then 'Suite Bundler', and select 'Search and Install Bundles'. Here, you can search for a bundle by keywords. For example, typing 'email' will show you various bundles related to electronic invoicing among others. You can view details like the provider, languages available for localization, and the components included.
To install a bundle, simply click on the one you're interested in, review the details, and click 'install'. You'll be guided through a few confirmation steps before the installation process completes. After installation, the status of the bundle may show as 'pending' as it finalizes.
