@@marcelgossner8540 I had to use a USB dongle with ethernet for this to work correctly. For some reason the program didn't like my built in ethernet card.

@@goku25jasongohan23 Thanks for the answer. I also found out about it yesterday. I installed a different network adapter and it worked. Then I uninstalled and deleted the driver for the OneBoard adapter twice so that an old driver was installed and it works with that one too. So it must be a driver problem.

try using a travel router such as GL iNet where you can configure wireguard client and be shared with all connected devices

I have two routers, one ac88u (PPPOE+DHCP) wan to pfsense (DHCP) pfsense lan to switch device, wireguard pc on pfsense lan area, do port forwarding twice, I use my mobile phone 5G to simulate outdoor connection, but it has not been able to Normal access to the network seems to be a problem with multi-layer port forwarding. Mostly good video, but after installing the sharing for my ethernet, my PC connection is lost when I activate my Wireguard. I put the client on my android and it connects but again, whether I connect wireguard in windows or not, as soon as connected I lose my internet on my PC. I need more explanations on what to use for Allowed IPs and Addresses so I can figure this out. It's very confusing.

Is it possible to setup two servers with the same configuration? eg. in case of one server's down, the other takes action.

Not that I know of. If you want to make a server a fallback, the easiest solution I can think of is to just have two profiles. But if you really want to only use one profile, you can have another server that is always online that acts as the gateway, and that gateway can check which server is up and redirect you to that server, althought I don't know exactly how to do it. Like what software to use.

Maybe your firewalls settings are blocking the ports and you didn’t port forward correctly or your public ip address was put wrong. Double check those two things

Try using "AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0, ::/0" or "AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/1, 128.0.0.0/1" in the client configuration file to connect to the server. In my case, it worked, and I could connect to the Internet with tunneled traffic through my server.

If you have done everything according to the instructions and your connection still does not work, then most likely your provider provides you with Internet access through its local router and gave you a so-called "gray" or "private" ip address. In this case, it will be impossible to connect to your computer from the external Internet, because the provider blocks port forwarding on its router by default. In this scenario, you have ways to solve the problem: 1) Buying a "white" or "public" ip address allocation service from your provider, usually this service costs a couple of dollars per month. 2) Purchase a VPS/VDS server with a dedicated public IP address and configure your wireguard on this remote server.
