So much script for so basic tasks ! We professional network engineers do a ton of sophisticated configurations and we keep changing stuff over n over due to changing policy of companies

Very valid point. Which is why I was very skeptic of the concept of automation of networks because of the snowflake phenomenon (every snowflake being different from the other) but automation has its place. Some day your company will reach a state and size where they can't keep changing policies on a regular basis and standardize most of the architecture. You will then find the benefit of automation for repetitive tasks at a large scale.

You can use python with if conditions. It will be hard to code initially but it works in the long road. Ansible in network can be useful for initial configurations or ios updates for example.
