I managed to land a web developer position here in Fresno for $30/hour after getting my Associate degree in Web design a couple years ago. You just have to work hard, network hard, learn everything you can and you will get there. I love my job. I do marketing and design as well and love it. I took a pay cut for the job I have right now. I have been a Network Engineer for almost two years, and the raises are good. In five or six years, I expect to be paid much more than I would be if I stayed working as a machinist. I am glad I did it. Somedays, it is stressful to help every person with their computer problems. The expectation is you know everything. But over time, you eventually start to see everything, and you get comfortable fixing everyone's issues.

A thing I had to learn about career paths. You can achieve a lot without taking the traditional Junior-Senior-Supervisor-Department Manager etc path. That's a management route that society says you do to succeed. In IT, you can do well by pushing in many other areas, Cyber, architecture etc. took me a long time to realise that.... You can get to CTO, and not "manage" people.

Nothing wrong to make content that has already been done, you know how many times I have searched a topic and then I go through a few videos until I end up with one that explains it much better,in a way I understand 👍🏼

Guys! I really loved this video, thank you so much, it is so resourceful, I don't know why but I got emotional on the part suggesting "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry", made me reflect, I need to slow down...Again, a big thank you!!!
