It's a whole different style of drifting in Japan. You can notice how the cars have softer suspension and drivers rely on weight transfer and throwing the car into drift more than American FD drivers. Some pro Japanese drivers run SR20 in their competition cars

there's no hp and most cars there make 600-800 but there also some making 1200hp it's the same as fd here except it's not saturated with gay v8s

Not sure if Forsberg was just off his game in this round or not, but it seems like he can't drift quite as well with lower horsepower cars than his usual FD car. A great driver for sure, but maybe not as versatile as others.
