@network Journey can you explain why DHCP offer packet is unicast to specific destination but you were telling that it was broadcast?

All first 4 packets are broadcast. Unicast only start after IP are been adopted by client pc

But in the wireshark packet capture in your video OFFER as well as ACK packet destination is a unicast IP (192.168.1.1) you can see in the video? why is that?

@@MuhammadAfaqSaeed-s7l check the layer 2 address as well. It would still be FF::::FF

@@NetworkJourney but in your video you said that Layer 3 will be broadcast until unless user gets the IP so i am concern about layer 3 not layer 2.

@MuhammadAfaqSaeed-s7l yes layer3 is broadcast on 255.255.255.255 as ip is not accepted by client only dhcp ack finishes. The Wireshark capture might in video showing up for an already working dhcp scenario. You can lab it up for a fresh nodes and see the initial Wireshark capture to understand. The ip are usually (0.0.0.0) and offering are not adopted yet until ack has been happened for first time.
