어릴때 아빠가 토란대를 잔뜩 얻어와서 가족들이 하루종일 토란대 손질했던 기억이 있네요 ㅎㅎ 그렇게 고생해서 말리면 겨우 한줌;; 싱싱할때 토란대 질감 재미있는데 영상에서 그게 느껴져서 넘 좋았어요 ㅎㅎ

In my ethnic culture, Minang - West Sumatra/Indonesia, we also eat taro stem and yam. We usually peel the taro stem -all of the green parts until its completely white-, then we squish it under water so the toxin washed out, then we cook it in curry style. Sometimes we cook it with chicken or fish. We call the yam "talas" and the edible yam stem is "kemumu". I just found your channel today, and I really like it ☺. Keep a good work💪

From farm/garden to table. It looks very calming, makes you feel wholesome. The cooking process is also very soothing (it is a healing video to watch, specially during this lock down time). One must not forget though, that it is a hard work everyday to keep all the plants, vegetables and the farm running smoothly. Nevertheless, your video made without distracting music is very commendable! I love it very much!

저는 독일사는데.토란대는 한번도 먹어본적이 없네요.은근 손이 많이 가는군요..토란대 말리시는거 보니.토란국이 생각나네요.토란국 그리우면 들깨가루 넣어 국 끓여요.그럼 들깨 토란국이랑 맛이 비슷해서.조금이나마 위안이 되더라구요~독일일상이 녹록치 않은데.키미님 처럼 노년엔 한국자연에서 숨쉬길 기대하고.바라고.또 꿈꾸워 봅니다.❤️

집된장으로 끓인 된장국, 찌개는 일반 시판용으로 끓인 그것과는 큰 차이라 저도 장류는 집에서 잠그는 재래식 장을 고집합니다. 장독대에서 장 퍼가는 거ᆢ 참 오랜만에 보는 모습이네요. ㅎ

I really love your video. So healing. In my country, we also eat taro. Usually, we steam and make taro into chips. My mom usually make steam taro and eat them with coconut powder for breakfast. You should try this, so yummy!!

Im my country we eat the taro leaf and use it as a wrap, we add meat and onions and wrap it up. Then we place in a dish and add coconut cream then cook in over till its cooked and it is very yummy we call it (lu’au or polusami) and we eat the steamed taro or baked green banana 😋 im polynesian btw

I have one small taro plant growing right now. I planted it last year, i think?, then it died, so I thought. This year during rainy season it decided to shoot some leaves. I water it if rain didn't come for the night. Hoping it would grow well. I love taro leaves and stem with coconut milk and chilli. Ang the roots with sour soup or as a dessert/snack.

Aesthetic, peaceful, healthy and everthing you cook looking so delicious! In Southern Vietnam, people also use taro stem to make a sweet and sour soup with other ingredients like pineapple, tomato, herbs and snakehead fish. I actually didn't know it was called "taro stem" but thanks to you, I know now.
