11:09 BINGO!! You nailed it! Best Marshall sound I've ever heard out of a plugin. Been looking for that for a very long time but never felt anybody did it right. Just copied that setting. Nice video! Thanks!

Correction my friend, this plug-in does amazing cleans, gritty Blues all the way to metalcore. I have this plug-in and it is far from shrill on my setup!

That's great to hear your happy with it. I can obviously only go by what I managed to get with that particular setup. It may have sounded completely different were I able to film back in the studio. Maybe I'll give it another go there. ;)

Man, I'm trying to like this thing but it sounds pretty harsh and brittle. If it's a cpu killer on top of that, that would be a deal killer.

I have the STL Tonality Howard Benson plugin, that's that's really light on the CPU. I've even used it live. I was a little underwhelmed by the Cali Suite. The Abasi and the Nolly have way more going for them. It's a free trial though, so it might be worth giving it a try yourself anyway. You may have more luck than me. ;)

@@jtguitartv I demoed Cali. Nice sound for sure but seeing the cpu meter jump like that, instant uninstall. I'm a composer not a focused guitarist and I need to use synths and drum plugins etc as well. I actually own Fortin and Plini which I think is great but I don't use them for the same reason. I decided to try STL Benson which I ran across some time ago but wasn't curious enough to demo it. Looked too much like Guitar Rig. That scared me off :) but after playing with it today I was very surprised it was right up my alley. Very little footprint but not at the expense of a good sound. I needed a simple to use, versatile amp sim and I don't mean versatile as in 10 types of metal either. I will buy it. Thanks for mentioning it. It will be my new go to.

You're very welcome mate, that's my go-to at the moment too! I'm not blown away by the cabs from STL, but they get the job done and as you said, not at the expense of the CPU. Glad I could help! :D JT
