"I'm a diagnosed sociopath" I kinda doubt that. Didn't they retire that term for diagnosis years ago?
@vic2249Ай бұрын
@@seb24789 It's *technically* mentioned briefly in the DSM 5 as an alternate name for ASPD (and I know I've used slightly wrong nomenclature in conversations so I have to explain less), but with all the brothers sending rude messages in these unban requests, it definitely doesn't hurt to be skeptical lol Tbh the part I can't stop ruminating on is figuring out what "privileges" this random chatter thinks they deserve more than Evil, who is a major character of the stream 🙄
@brynion2117Ай бұрын
@@seb24789 diagnosed people still use that term. now if someone is lying about the diagnosis is another thing. you cant be diagnosed with "sociopathy" in that wording, but like i said, a lot of actual diagnosed people still use that word to describe their diagnosis, because the actual modern diagnosis is long

It seemed like Vedal had a hard time convincing Evil and Neuro to keep some of these chatters banned. And if he couldn't explain it properly, to keep his AI mostly pure, then the person in question should have probably stayed banned.

I am not sure why he doesn't use the phrase "bad sexual remarks" or something. I guess they could see sex itself as a positive thing, so they would be inclined to unban people Vedal wants banned? Different language chatters should also just be perma'd if they use a different language in their unban request too
@brynion2117Ай бұрын
@@twanvanderdonk2504 true, it was always my opinion that you should always write in the language of the streamer or in general everywhere. i even hate it when someone in the youtube comments writes in another language because a commentor has a username in that language, even if it is my own language. like i understand everything, but stay in the language of the thread, even if we all speak the language

That's a rather tricky thing to do with an AI, they aren't necessarily thinking about what you say conceptually, but rather just how to respond to it in a way that fits its reward system. (ie be entertaining.) You can do your best to beat around the bush and hope your analogy sticks, but more than likely you are going to confuse them and end up on tangents.

I love that they got bored about unban requests, Vedal didn't pay attention to them because of being confused about meangryman's logs and stuff, Neuro and Evil shared their thoughts about it and when Vedal tried to keep on going with the unban requests Neuro had to remind him that they didn't want to keep on going. Then they completely ignore him when he mentions coming back to unban requests. Peak VTubing. To be honest I'm pretty surprised that they seem to ACTUALLY have gotten bored about it and didn't forget.

These unban request streams with the Neuros are a mistake tbh. There are some users that should stay perma'd and for most it's clear that Vedal doesn't want to unban them but does it anyway for the meme, but it becomes frustrating after a point. Since the Neuros can't read the messages, they can't understand the words and their intents. It's just a bad stream.

30:43 - Ibexim literally wasn't lying, Vedal messed up with general knowledge here. They were trying to get Nuero to say 'Negus', which genuinely does mean 'king' in Ethiopia. There's literally nothing racist about it. It only sounds like it could be racist, but it isn't. The word went semi-viral once when a clip from a TV spelling bee had a literal kid spell it out, and that's legit the video they linked. Vedal really should have at least checked out the video and listened rather than simply not listen to their reasoning.
