Dr. Andrew Lee, You are so fascinating! I learned a lot from your short but precise lectures. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! When I was little I had a lazy eye and I got surgery when I was 5. I ended up having to use patches on one of my eyes to strethen the other but that was really difficult for me, to me the patches were literal torture 😂 about 5 years ago (I'm 13 now) I got given the opportunity to get glasses and I did get them, occasionally strengthening the lenses or whatever needed to be done. I'm not sure how long ago now but doctors said I had DVD, I've always just said to people "I have a lazy eye that happens if I look in certain directions or concentrate on a certain object infront of me" or whatever so this helps alot! Lol.

Excellent video! Can you pls talk about periodic alternating nystagmus and whether it can be congenital or is it always acquired?

Thank you Dr Lee! Could you explain why is it that only a base-down prism over the hypertropic eye will correct a deviation from a DVD but either a base-down OR Base-up prism will correct a misalignment in a fourth nerve palsy?

Is it something to do with the Hering's law that you mentioned?
