The title of the clip is "Fauna does a Neuro-Sama impression" and "scared her chat." That's why she recognized it was an impression and said it was scary. If the clip was called "Goat talks to cute duck" she would have said, "That goat is really cute. The way the duck talks is making me laugh." Not to be the party pooper but she didn't actually independently recognize she was being impersonated.

It's actually not too crazy when you think about it. The initial prompt for the chat AI (the "memory" if you want to consider it that) likely contains references to Neuro-sama being an AI. Combine that with picking up the word "impression" and any response combining those two would've seemed to us like recognition. Also remember that clips on youtube are selecting for the craziest or most impressive things the AI says.

In all seriousness, if the creator wants to further blur the lines between AI and human, there might be a way to give it access to that ElevenLabs voice synthesis thing, I've heard some ultra-realistic voices come out of that. Of course someone would have to supply a voice, and it might not be possible without some kind of company collaboration, but THAT would be scary.
