Thanks for showing this one Joel. I love this kind of game. Great to see 3.0 and hear your thoughts. Great stuff!

Thoughts on iOS vs cardboard? I love playing this on my iPad where the app does all the battles, etc. for you. Makes the games go very quickly.

Frankly burned out on the app. Mostly burned out on losing to the AI. I definitely like playing it in "3D" so to speak more.

Drive Thru Review I'm in the same boat, I wonder if playing the physical game, and doing some of the solo stuff would help ramp up my skill and I could enjoy the app more.

i like what i see of this game but i need some informations. 1- an ios/android app exist does this app contains all the 3.0 edition set? 2- Does the 3.0 edition contains everthing that has been released before (expansion and previous edition)? 3- have they all ready release expansion for this 3.0 edition? if yes, are they relevant? thank you

I couldn't tell you what the app has for certain from it's base game. I believe it had 4 or 6 factions. I can't remember. I ended up buying all of the factions for it. It certainly has plenty to get you going. It takes some time to learn the factions. The 3.0 edition doesn't have everything. There is more to get now.

I spent half this review wondering how they could have so ruined Neuroshima Hex that you would deem it "trash", so I'm glad it didn't mean what I thought it meant. =)

Indeed, also this is going on my wishlist. I've had a hard time getting my son into abstracts, but this have just enough theme I don't think he'd notice just how abstract it is.

Scott Dexter Abstracts have no element of luck whatsoever, but in this game you draw your tiles randomly, so it can't be classed as an abstract.
