I live in the U.K. and love your style. I have thrifted for years, although we do not call it that here, we call them charity shops, so I guess we would call it charity shopping. I have found you can get some lovely designer pieces, though not so much now as these shops have got wise to it and sell those pieces separately. What I did find is thrifting has got more expensive but I was talking to an assistant recently who said they had reduced their prices with how the current climate is and I believe people were not prepared to pay the price for something that wasn’t far off the original price. I don't do anything special. I buy better quality pieces. I launder like colors together. Sometimes, I flat dry an item. I button blazers before laundering and hang on the seam or mid point of the shoulder so it dries to correct shape. I wash some pieces in a gentle cycle. I also dry clean. I use a lint shaver when needed. That's it.

I really love your videos and they’re helping me with ideas for my outfits. I have a question. Since we are going into cooler weather, what would be your advice on hosiery or tights with dresses? I have the worse time matching my skin color in hosiery, what do you do to get the right color?

Hi Diane. That is great. Tights are great with skirts and under pants for added warmth too. Play with patterns on tights to wear against solid dresses or skirts. I suggest trying a few shades of knee highs (they are inexpensive). This will help narrow down to find your color match. Once you find the best 2 options. Try them together, one on each leg and see which one looks best. Hope this helps.
