"Can we bring in a honking professional?!?!" I am a very visual person, and I flashed an image of a "professional" bursting through the door honking a horn. Cracking me up Pam! Love It!

I saw the ‘professional’ wearing a lab coat and booties. 😆We are a very ‘visual’ lot. 😆 Pam has caused me to choke, laugh, cough, spew coffee on my ipad more than once. Gotta love her. 👍

Good morning Pam and outpost gang! 💕Love watching journals going together. Thanks for doing a 4 signature again. My 3 sig and 5 sig seem to go fine, but my 4 signature …, welll… wonky be the word. 🫣 Rainy (again 😛) here, therefore, I fully intend to craft my brains out today. 😂 wishing all a safe, warm, happy holiday season. 🤗 Everyone have a great Saturday. 💕

Hi Deb, I started my first real DIY journal yesterday. Of course I take much longer, so back to the soft journal from a magazine that I covered last night. Punched holes for my single 5.85 × 8.85 signature in my 6 x 9. I started with tiny folders I was sewing signatures into but this one has substance to it. Making one each for my nieces. I'll be coming back to this video another time though. I watched the first part. Have fun.

@@BarbaraEMarshallCampbellWelcome to the crazy, delightful, frustrating, joyful, wonderful world of journal making! 🤗 I have always been a slow journal maker, and I’ve made more than a few. The primary goals are to relax, delight in creating, and enjoy the journey. 👍

Hi Pam! Hoping your boo boo heals up quickly. Thankfully it's your left thumb! Thank you for walking us through the journal-making process. I watch you very closely and learn something everytime! I really like the hidden spine and will be making many that way. I still need to unpack and set up the craft room, so until then, I watch your great videos and cut up book pages! Have a great day, whenever you see this! 🥰

Good Morning! That sandy block is a game changer!:I need one in my life
@abigailphoenixthepaperaddi25012 жыл бұрын
They really are amazing! I got mine at Dollar Tree, i think. I have seen them in various other places - home improvement stores, walmart, etc. I also use those disposable nail files (emory boards) for sanding. Honestly, it was a huge game-changer when I got my 1st sanding block (Mr Sandy is its nickname in my house, lol). I refuse to craft without one nearby now =D (edited to add:) Ok, that would be a partial untruth. I'll craft without Mr Sandy, but it sure is useful!

There are so many ways to do a hidden spine. I'm learning something new. I've done it by covering that cupboard with fabric and gluing it and the fabric flaps down so i want to see how you fi this one. Thank you for showing many ways to do one thing.

I keep running out of space on my crafting table in my craft room. I'm having trouble finding room for the different supplies, bolts and cuts of fabric, tools, works-in-progress, threads, yarns, twines, paints, glues, and a small toy collection. I got a floor loom recently and moved the dining room table over to fit it in. 3 industrial size sewing machines, a treadle, and 2 tabletop machines, and just tons of other craft items. I'm going to need a bigger house 😮

Really enjoying this series of videos! I do beg to disagree with you- I am the worst measurer in the world. Even my Fiskars paper trimmer defeats me- I think the measurement is fine (& usually isn't), so do better just eye-balling it. Love my Crop-a-Dile also- it IS satisfying to punch those holes. And I want to thank you for the sanding block tip- I find myself reaching for it all the time; it's so handy! Glad Mr. Sunshine is okay after the vitamin incident. His "Pup-Lick" service announcements are the best.

Poor pup. I had to have my tonsils/adenoids removed when I was 30. Hubs was beside himself worrying over my sudden & scary weight loss bc I would only eat just enough apple sauce or yogurt to get the crushed up pain pill down. So...he spiked my apple sauce with pain med AND a multi vitamin. If I thought it hurt going down, that was a cake walk compared to the other way! Now (over 30 yrs later) he won't even put cream in my coffee without my express permission. 🤣
