My son has a tag for unit 101-109 we are going to Lamoille Canyon and hiking in. We have never hunted there but we will be there two days early so hopefully we can beat the guided hunters! 😅 Great job on this video , felt like weee out there with you.

Good video, wish we could of seen you put one on the ground. I can’t wait to get back out there next year. To everyone that thinks they’re going to get a tag in the Rubies and do some high country hunt and bag a big buck, be prepared to get your teeth kicked in. (Unless you higher a guide to do all the work for you😂) It’s some of the steepest and nastiest mule deer country around. It checks all the boxes for High Country Mule Deer. But it’s also heavily pressured and starting to turn into Nevada’s version of the Wasatch front. Hopefully anyone that visits leaves it better then they found it and doesn’t abuse the resource.

We seen a hundred deer out in the field below the overland lake trail head , we seen twenty does at least a day but very few shooters , the whole mid season ... My brother and nice ended up getting both their tags filled.... Near the overland lake trail head I believe

I am glad to see that they at least recovered the meat, but it makes me mad that they did not take care of it immediately.

Seems to work well. Nice vid. I was hunting mules in idaho noth of ya a few hundred miles. It's nice to be out breathing in what God made especially after the last few years we had. By7:20 you can see that bucks antlers good

Clowns? Gotta remember, they’re doing the same thing you are. Had you been positioned closer, you would’ve shot that big 3. Pretty sure they hunted there before, perhaps just like you.

Why are outfitters allowed to hunt on public land and exploit the publics wildlife for profit? $5000 for a 160” mule deer. 😂😂😂😂I hope he didn’t tip them
@mazlosoutdooradventures8594 Жыл бұрын
Outfitters build camps , anyone can do it them self if they like... You pay an outfitter for his help to get you to a nice camp and you dont have to hike that brutal country like a badass.... People underestimate how steap these mountains are (cameras don't even do it Justice) and how difficult it is to do this. It's worth every penny to most to have an outfitter take them up and do everything but pull the trigger.... I was there hunting these exact same mountain tops two weeks later and I give props to this man for doing this solo.... It's truly bad ass of him.

@@mazlosoutdooradventures8594 I will keep that in mind every time I see an outfitter politicking a legislative body to take away tags from the hunting public and give guaranteed tags to them So they can lease more hunting land and take opportunity away from the mom and dad who just wanna take the kid hunting but can’t do it anymore because people like you made it unaffordable. Then some wannabe outfitter has to go exploit the public land and the only place for people without money to go. Get real.
@Jesters7264 Жыл бұрын
Well...its called public land cause its open to the public. That includes people who run outfitters for a living. Now if they take an area like this and lease it out to outfitters, closing off to the general public then you got reason to be upset.
@capt.america6296 Жыл бұрын
@@Jesters7264 Then anyone that wants to run an outfitting business should be able to start one, but that isnt how it works. the outfitter association have made it so only a few can operate in a region to once again exploit the wildlife for profit while giving nothing back. Open your eyes unless your one of these pathettic people that are an outfitter or use an outfitter because you are to pathetic to put the time and effort in yourself.

My sentiments EXACTLY!!! NICE CALL BROTHER!!! They have the hunting rights to much private land locked up and most often hunt public lands with clients. COMPLETE BULLSHIT!!!🖕
