Nevada Ballet Theatre Gives Children the Chance to Dance through Future Dance

One of the most important elements of Nevada Ballet Theatre’s mission is to provide premier educational dance programming to local Clark County school children. Now in its 31st year, Future Dance has grown to become one of the most successful education and outreach programs in the Clark County School District. With free in-school dance instruction as the cornerstone of Future Dance, Nevada Ballet Theatre’s Education and Outreach programs now reach 20,000 students annually through initiatives like GO-MOVE-DANCE!!!, Dance Discovery, Future Dance Scholar program, School Matinee Series, Kids Night Out at the Ballet and the adult educational program, Insights. Through the continued generosity and commitment of community leaders and arts supporters, Nevada Ballet Theatre will continue to educate more children, engage more schools and instill young lives with positive habits, a healthy self-esteem and a strong work ethic. This season will see Future Dance growing by leaps and bounds as the company seeks to touch the lives of every student in Clark County who is in need of food for the soul.
