Absolutely love that raw emotion after the multiple shots. Missed my antelope from 65 yards this year and realized my scope was still dialed for the 517 yard shot I took two days before.(Missed) Quick reload and a redial and thank god for extra chances.

Jason this made me smile watching you miss. I drew Desert in Utah 21. Swear I didnt miss a shot practicing up to 1000 yards prior to the hunt. I missed my ram 3 times at 320 yards before putting him down. I know exactly how you feel.

Shooting at extreme up or down changes the pull of gravity on the bullet, making you shoot high either way.

I’m all for hunting but when you can’t make a ethical shot it’s time to pack it up and take the loss. After your 2nd miss you should have packed it up who’s to say none of the other sheep didn’t take any shrapnel or ricochets and where was the confidence that your 3rd shot would be a ethical shot? Piss poor job buddy, not sure I would have documented this embarrassment.
