The problem with Prostreet is the delayed input. On PC you can change it in the config file, but on PS2 your screwed.

Problem was the 400km/h bug so you ended up min maxing a car that could get to 395km/h as fast as possible

@@chrissss696 I believe it was patched on the ps3 version but the launch ps2 version had a bug where you couldn't steer at over 400km/h, at least on pal versions. This meant the meta was to stay at like 395km/h as much as possible but not more, I often restricted the gearing to such so that I wouldn't loose steering, if you were brave or on a straight you might break 400 but would quickly need to slow in order to steer at all.

Extra grippy tires and RK's highly customizable engines to get the performance needed to overcome the extra gravity, I had turned the gravity up to about double earth's gravity because otherwise you'd way overshoot every jump at these speeds, that and the car wanted to grip roll with the grippier tires
