Thanks for bringing this forward - likewise no issues (born 1970), all fine n dandy till lockdown - But one does worry - keep well for you & family ❤- I have a similar system -do you swallow or spit - need to do this outside & spit out.

Thanks for that ...much appreciated ...I spit it out in the sink...I suppose swallowing is ok as any "bits" in the water are only food you would have eaten anyway :) but just seems better to spit out.

Hello Tom, didy ou buy it recently? I haven't seen one in my local Lidl.
@TomsManShed6 ай бұрын
Hi Marina...I bought it 8th Jan ...I usually do reviews quite quickly after buying a product but wanted to give this a good try out and got doing some other reviews and other stuff first so this got a bit delayed.....they do come round a few times so may be along again soon.

@@TomsManShed Hello Tom, I've had this one for years and it's still going strong for probably almost 10 years now, it just needs descaling every now and then. I take it with me when I travel, and don't use it on a daily basis, as I have the large one, non-Lidl, and it broke, so I thought I'd try the Lidl large one and thought it was in stores now .

They are on sale in N. Ireland from tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me. Wouldn't charge after a couple of months usage. Received a full refund no problem. Now have a waterpik from Boots. More expensive, just hoping same thing doesn't happen. Time will tell.

Hi Barbara...yes maybe it was a faulty batch?...so far the replacement (a later model) has been ok ....again fingers crossed....you should be ok with a good brand like waterpik

Great review. Thank you. I hope the batteries last. I have not had a Lidl floser, but I have had 3 other brands that just died about a year after purchase bought off Amazon. I will give this Lidl flosser a try as the three year warranty is very good.

Hi Greg thanks for the kind words...yes hopefully they will last and like you say you are covered for 3 years ...as mentioned Lidl replaced a 2 year 10 month old drill that had gone faulty (still working but coming apart at the back) with a new one and said just keep the old one (which is still working) :)

I've had mine about 9 months. There is foul smell (stagnant water) that I can't get rid of, probably due to water ingress through the space surrounding the release button which is pressed to remove the nozzle and into the oval hole at the back. There is also a blackening at the join between the top and the body. Despite thoroughly drying the item and passing dilute bleach though the device the smell reccurs and there is some foul matter visible through the oval hole.

Hi John sorry to hear that...googled it and it seems this can happen ...there are lots of sites and it seems White Vinegar is what can be used to clear the smell caused by bacteria ...let me know if you get it sorted

I bought one from Lidl yesterday it looks different from yours so here's hoping they've made improvements 🤞
@TomsManShed4 ай бұрын
Hi Martin...yes I wasn't going to do a video on the new one but on reading it's spec I see they have made 2 good improvements ... Higher IPX rating and bigger battery ...plus it looks better imho. The vid will be live later today...its uploading right now

Is it noisy when charging?
@TomsManShed2 ай бұрын
No It's totally silent. I don't know of any charger (other than really old car battery chargers) or appliance that makes a noise while charging
@arcangeloferrigno79222 ай бұрын
Thanks for your answer. I do not know why but the one I just bought is quite noisy when charging. I will ask to have it replaced since it is covered by a 3 year warranty. Best Regards @@TomsManShed
