I was pretty hyped to see you play this part of the VN, because we've put a lot of work into it (our artist did an amazing job with that Gilliant vs Tenoch CG I must say!), and I'm so sorry to make you go through so many songs! The number and quality of CG's in this chapter is amazing, I had a hard time choosing a thumbnail. This song's melody desperately wanted to be Men of Harlech as it has the pefect feel for the the type of song Erik's singing. Also, bards are important in Welsh culture and my ancestors gave the Romans a lot of trouble so we fit somewhat with the Frostians. Unfortunately the lyrics do not fit well which is why it took several takes to come up with something xD So far the other songs haven't been so tricky.

@@BlaiddLlwyd Frostfang is a blend of Celtic and Scandinavian inspiration, and both cultural spheres place great importance on the oral transmission of stories and legends, whether through the bards, skalds or even druids and hofgothi, so I think that speaks to you as a narrator, just as it does to us as writers! And just as the Welsh had to fight the Romans, so did the Gauls, while the Danish Vikings had to fight the Christian invasions. The tensions between Frostfang and Mekad are reminiscent of these wars, with those considered barbarians on one side and 'civilisation' on the other! A true clash of culture, in short. :)

Maelbjorn is such a seductive bear~ He's so sweet and charming~ Definitely my fav route for this VN~ Vol really is pushing Erik too much, but I can't deny that he's been a "good" teacher~ The festival performance was definitely well done and the outfits looked great, even moreso on Akhet~ Tenochs armor honestly looks very anime but in a good way, it looks great on him~ Accented but his flaming wings makes it that much better~ Maelbjorn's performance, dispite being planned, was rather reckless~ I understand why he did it though and I believe he achieved the result he was looking for~ After that bath scene I definitely need a Gilliant route now~ I absolutely need to know more about him~ That cliffhanger definitely left more to be seen, I can't wait~ I very much look forward to the finale of Lyre next week~ Anyways, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well as always~ Cheers!~
