Due to the My Car Restriction, we need to use the shuttle to the 5th Station. The shuttle time was limited (the last one is at 6:30 P.M.) So I thought I couldn’t climb Mt.Fuji on a day trip, but since we figured out that we could use a taxi even if we couldn’t catch the shuttle, we decided to challenge climbing to the summit!

Congrats Rion! I looked up the stats and it's 7,874 feet at the 5th Station and 12,388 feet at the summit, so 4,514 in elevation gain on a 5km route. Not to mention the thin air because of the elevation. Your hike was very impressive, especially since you're not a hiker. Take a long break from hiking!!!

I can imagine how tired your legs must have felt when you finally made it back to your hotel in the evening, and I hope you were able to rest and recover by the next day.
