You're not even safe in cutscenes. When I activated the Lingard cutscene, Xeno just walked into the room (I heard the door open). I had to skip it and duck under the table. I was shocked he didn't notice me.

It is not a cutscene. It is just a visualised masage. The cutscene is where the Room explodes behind the Kseno!

here’s a tip whenever the sensor goes off and if he’s far away hide That means he’s in the vents.

Yea I started to notice that. The alien wasn’t the only one I was looking out for. There’s also people around as well

That motion tracker is your lifesaver here in this game! Especially in the tightest areas where the alien frequents most. Keep moving and never stay in one room or area. 💯👌

I am plaing now the hard difficulty (next one is night are, but it is first time I am plaing the Alien Isokation, so I have chosen just hard difficulty, not nightmare), and the Kseno has disturbed me very much time in the mission, where we need to trap it!

This game never really took off for a lot of gamers or franchise fans, but I'm glad others gave it a chance. I loved this game.

Oh no.... lol. I didn't even need to play the video. Every single problem in that area came flodding back to me in the first 10th of a second. I'm paranoid about that particular room after an incident on Nightmare mode where I got stuck playing peek-a-boo for a solid 3 or 4 minutes with the Xeno.

That's a big mistake many people do. Because you crouched, you won't have time to do these things as the longer you stay in one area the closer the patrol path will become as it will have already searched everywhere else. Notice how nightmare players only crouch a couple of times in an entire playthrough

True I think at that time I listening out for the npcs as well as the alien not thinking about the objective

For a brief second, it looked like the xeno was about to move away through the vents, but then it did a 180 and popped down from it, just as he was activating the PC. On easy I'd feel confident enough to take this risk, but on medium not so much. On hard, I'd always make sure he's at least 30 m away, because his senses are no joke.

It didn’t seem like it would dropped down behind me😂. Previous attempt he would drop from various vents but this time around never was walking around. Until I touched that PC💀

I think in this game, at some point you have to decide to be either prey or predator. There are weapons and explosive items all around. Sure, hide for a bit but also scope out the area and set a trap for the Xeno.
