That was golden. I've also been in similar situations like this before. Probabbly the most common one is when I leave a mech cluster for "later". I set up zones to prohibit pawns from wandering too close to them. Thats usually enough but on rare occasion, random passing through or visitors trigger them without me realizing until its too late lol

this reminds me of a while ago, i with a old version of genetic rim (before vanilla genetics expended), mechathrumbos had a glitch in which they could reproduce, with a gestating time of 10 days i had like 30 mechathrumbos, they were my only base defence
