Used to make your pool noodle candy with toilet paper rolls! Try turning one elf shoe inside out in order to reverse the colors for the other foot. You could also glue a piece of faux fur to the hat bottom to make a beard .

saving the back is appreciated, we have reached middle adulthood it is fun to have Christmas in July! OH the candy rolls, you could use empty TP rolls and paper towel rolls and paint them if you aren't able to buy the peppermint paper/pool noodles. :) a lot can be done with TP rolls, that would be a fun challenge to do!! :)

All great ideas! About the elf shoes...I wonder if you could remove the collar, turn the shoe inside out, and then reattach the collar. That way it would be the same color for both feet.

Cut wedges into the pool noodle so the end will bend. Used pipe insulation for elephant trunks. A little glue held those trunks high. Glued them to children’s butterfly shaped sunglasses.

For your candy cane- you can put a wire hanger (if you have any of those around) inside the top 2/3 of the noodle and bend the top down. It works as well! Love your idea's. I'm not ready for Christmas yet, but super fun- and now is the time for pool noodles for sure!
