i grew up in the 80s and 90s and it was still better then than today. I am so thankful my childhood was not dominated by social media and phones. We had bonfires, packed a brown bag lunch, stacked firewood, rode our bikes till we were too tall for them, and stayed out late in the yard catching lightening bugs and drinking sun tea. I neved had a video game machine, even when Nintendo started when I was in 6th grade. I was never allowed to just snack or take food whenever I wanted, and we ate as a family every dinner. Takeout was 2 times a month, and we had air popcorn with real melted butter and soda on Friday nights. Simple and good.

That depends on our personality & our list of priorities. It’s personal taste. I myself appreciate today’s ingenuity & healthy imagination coming to life continuously. Things like the Internet can be used for good, or for evil. Evil seems to be predominant.....but evil will one day be eradicated for eternity. God gave us intelligence & gives us the freedom to use it in whichever way we choose. Choose wrong, & the end result will be regretted for eternity. Changes will continue......but there are only two paths to be on. Make sure you know which one you’re on. Victory has already been achieved. The Kodachrome Time Machine channel is designed to show you a sliver of life in a past time. It’s not unusual for people to become nostalgic for the past when current times are tumultuous. With today’s political climate and the pandemic, we are certainly ripe for such thinking. But these videos are not meant to show that the world was a perfect place ‘back then’, just different. And it certainly was quite different. But, as with every time, there were many bad things happening then. I hope that seeing these images will motivate you to keep what was good about the past, while working to solve today’s problems.
