I dont wanna say that it doesn't work but here are the problems I faced: 1. The foundation makeup thing doesn't blend with the mixture, it just stays on the surface and on my hands 2. its kinda crumbly, I used glycerine for cooking, not from the pharmacy, maybe thats the problem? 3. It becomes very jelly like when I add the gelatine, not liquid like in the video 4. its sticky 5. The ink doesn't seem to stay in
@CULTonika
@CULTonika 8 ай бұрын
Good day! here's how I'd solve the above problems : 1. Stop the microwave process more often to give the contents more mixes 2.As long as glycerin is pure, there should't be a problem 3. try increasing the heat, because the only way it becomes liquid is by melting. 4. maybe your gelatin or glycerine has pre added added sugars?

Then you can use a method called "bain-marie" or "water bath" it’s a cooking technique used to gently heat food or to keep it warm over a period of time. It involves placing a container (such as a bowl or pot) of food inside a larger, shallow pan filled with hot water. The water surrounds the food container with gentle heat, allowing the food to cook evenly and preventing it from overheating or curdling. An oven is not a good option though.

@@CULTonika so well. I really liked that you don't need to use any stencil stuff to transfer the design to the fake skin and it doesn't erase!! I used Vaseline to clean it and it didn't work, so I used soap and it worked to clean it, but I would like to know how you clean it? and if in this fake skin you can also use magnum for shading and coloring or just Rl?

Unfortunately, this actually cost me a bit more in ingredients than the 8.5 x 11 TrueSkin I bought on Amazon. 😢

@@Chrishernandez283 The ingredients cost me 26$. TrueSkin cost me 23.99$. I'll stick with TrueSkin. While they're expensive, they're still cheaper than Reelskin or APOF. And TrueSkin is twice as thick.

that's interesting, my ingredients only cost me around 5$ for multiple thick pieces

C'mon bro, it's more work and feels like buying pseudo and cooking crystal meth... It's the same cost to buy fake skin and less work than mixing up all that stuff... PS. Change the title of this video, never buying fake skin again but run to a shop and buy other stuff to mixing up fake skin.
