I've seen at least 2 interview where Christian Louboutin himself said his shoes are not designed for comfort. He said making the shoe comfortable is not a priority but rather the way the shoe looks is. He actually said in one of his interviews that if someone told him his shoes looked comfortable he wouldn't consider a complement.

Ladies, if you want a pair of comfortable heels, buy pleasers. They are made for dancers (but also come in "normal" platform height.) They are lightweight and will sculp to the shape of your foot after a few wears.

I agree with the heels and espadrilles but the Hermes Orans are seriously very comfortable (atleast for me) I have mine for almost 5 years and still in very good condition considering I wear it atleast 2-3x a week, got it soaked a lot of times (I don’t ‘baby’ luxury items since they’re meant for us to use😅 but really, the leather is impeccable!! Never did my feet got hurt even if I use it for more than 6 hours straight. I didn’t have to buy a couple of sandals every year since it breaks easily. So the orans for me are worth it. 👌🏻

I have a pair of the lambskin Chanel espadrilles and they came apart pretty darn quickly. I get that lambskin is soft and sensitive but come on they're not made to last. Within a month the stitching started to unravel as well.

The cheep gel insoles from the pharmacy, and department store don't work, period! Buy the high quality leather ones from a quality professional cobbler, and have them put the vibram soles, and cushions on the inside will change your life! I'm able to walk in my Louboutin's for hours! With proper professional care and maintenance you'll have your designer shoes for years! 😉 😘

I agree!!! If it wasn’t sooooo tight while walking, the shoe wouldn’t be bad. I tried putting a thin gel insert to keep my foot in place higher up and no bueno. Walking in Miami to dinner from the Uber to the restaurant door even was toooo much.

4 inch heels AREN'T made for walking/standing, they're made for sitting. I always look at where the heel lines up, if it is at the back of the heel, I won't touch them, a good pair of heels, has the centre of the shaft, lined up with the CENTER of ur heel, whn u're wearing them, NOT the back of it

I’m glad you said it! Those YSL shoes are very difficult to balance yourself in. The bottom holding up the YSL is made of thin rubber and can easily cause you to slip on certain surfaces. The Louboutins are a waste. Women only wear it as a symbol status but it is extremely uncomfortable and will eventually give you foot and back problems.

As a sport shoe person and who owns 0 heels, I do find heels pretty and even I myself feel like an actual goddess when ever I have a chance to try them on. But the fact that most of "pretty " heels re damn uncomfortable to walk never let's my rationality to own one. Payless has nice quality shoes and sandals at an affordable price. i have a pair of shoes i bought from Payless and they are so comfy and light and my feet don't feel hot even during a hot day because the wind can pass through it. i bought those shoes in 2017 and i still have them til today. my mom also bought 4 pairs of sandals in, i think 2018, and she still have them today.

Designer shoes are definitely not worth it. There are some exceptions like Lottusse, *Tods* (they literally come with a 3 year guarantee) Kurt Geiger, Jimmy Choo, Prada are actually pretty nice too. The big mistake is going for the tiny flimsy heels. No no no you need to buy the stuff that’s worth spending designer level money on meaning *boots, ankle boots, leather products* because they will be good quality and last forever. I have so many Prada and Tods leather shoes that used to be my moms that are like 30 years old and look great. Get those, skip the designer heels.
