I would deny and wait it out, and with someone like Ze, who seems to love to make himself look suspicious, chances are high him being doubted would lead to people doubting his past reporting of you. Keeping the "wrong place wrong time" players alive can be really useful for impostors.

I actually kept an imposter from killing this way. Of course, it wasn't just me, it was myself and one other crew mate. We had finished our tasks and both suspected the guy heavily. So while no one listened to us, we just agreed to both follow the guy. And we followed him until the tasks were done.
