This entire movie in a nutshell was basically DMX playing an evil and cold hearted drug dealer, and I love it. He fit the role so well and is the best thing about the film. X really did have the voice, look, vibe and personality to play the tough, badass and intimidating gangster role as evidenced by this film, Belly and Cradle 2 the Grave. I wish we saw him in more movie roles in the 2000s similar to this cause he really did have the potential for crime and action movies. He also could have made a great voice actor too.

You never know whose nose is dirty, you never know who will get turned out, and you never know who is lurking behind the scenes....DMX needed guidance he could have been a great actor and lyricist if he had a mentor!!!

I never realized rudy "king kato" rangel was the executive producer for this movie. Who would've thought one of the biggest dealers from Chicago at the time that worked for the flores twins and el chapo would do that. DMX really took care of dude sad he never got to see it. RIP DMX & KING KATO

I hate this trailer only because it does not do the movie justice. It makes it feel like just another gangster (gangsta) film, however the story is a bit deeper than what is on the surface. This is a very good movie as I was pleasantly surprised after leaving the theater. This is not a film I would typically see however, for some reason, I was drawn in to seeing this. Glad I gave it a shot. A great movie, even 8 year later.

The concept of this movie is really interesting but some of the acting and the execution of the story telling and cinematography is kinda bad. Also there's nothing likable about DMX character that makes you care about him throughout the movie.

Devine Wynder that’s not the point...x is a villain looking for Redemption...right off rip that’s established when he’s laid in the coffin..but I can see what u mean in a sense but I didn’t care if he was perceived as likable..he kept the intensity goin throughout the whole film as well as Mike Ealy...n how was the story telling or acting bad!? Clifton Powell, X, Mike Ealy definitely portrayed their characters to a T n I thought the backwards story telling was incredibly put together n understood clearly..but hey to each is own
