Puppy should be of Minimum 45-60 days old....and this is the most important part so be careful when you are getting one.... god bless this puppy...

Actually they should be at least 56 days old. If you are a breeder then you should know this. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Dog Breeding and Marketing) Rules (2017) were introduced to help protect and promote the welfare of dogs. These rules clearly state that a puppy should be 56 days old before they can be sold/leave the mother.

That would be too much, and also injustice with the mother to disunite her with the pups when she has formed a relationship. Pups should be around 17 to 21 days when adopted.

Sir today I have adopted four 5 years old Street dog and I name them lahasa apso, rottweiler, golden retriever and Pitbull becoz they actually look a like them. I gave them space in my heart but not in my house becoz I want to see them free but when there is a thunderstorm or rain I allow them to enter my house they have such a great heart.

Dost banaye jaate hai.. kharide nahi! Don't purchase cats or dogs as pets. They are forcefully bred for money and the ones that dont turn out to be cute looking as discarded and left to die. Instead adopt dogs or cats, vaccinate and sterilize them. This is far cheaper than buying any animal and this will also help these helpless animals from starvation and rain! After all, saving lives matter to Gods!

Sir, in our colony we have around 12 dogs of different age groups, trust me they are very dependable. They understand when we scold them, they love playing with us, they wait for us, at one call recognize our voice they are loveable. Each one has a different name and they respond when their name is called.. I request readers, KZbinr to please give a thought if possible adopt street dogs / puppies. The rules state they should be 56 days old and if you're a responsible breeder/seller then you would know the actual rules and abide by them. Mostly dog breeders in INDIA don’t sell puppies properly and carefully, even their kennel are not that much hygienic thats why when we get our puppies__they are so weak, going through with some skin disease because of unhygienic environment where they were kept. Breeder is criminal as he is selling very small puppies.this young man is not aware of mother feeding. I request government should make law no breeder can sell any puppies before 45 days. Breeder should fine Rs one lakh and that money to be deposited in animal ministry. Buyer should fine for 50 thousand rupees.
