I used a more nuanced approach when making this list, so I hope you find the explanations more helpful! Most cards are somewhat playable these days (even if it's not always ideal), but there is still a gap between cards you actively want and cards you sort of wind up with naturally because they come around late. Knowing what to prioritize during the draft portion can make a big difference!

Played Clammy Prowler on my prerelease in my Eerie esper deck and it did so much work! Was only killed once from double blocking and it let my big black bois stomp through without a chance of being blocked! Very niche but it really worked in that one. Keep up the good work, your videos are dope!

I put unwanted remake into the same situation as Bovine Intervention from Thunder Junction. Yes, the manifest dread is bad, but if you can cause an opponent to lose their bomb rare and make it into a 2/2, you’re really happy. It’s not unplayable and the downside is present, but I would put it into a more control deck shell.

Right I think it's an important distinction to make from constructed. In constructed they have 4 copies of all their best creatures, so wasting a card and some mana on turning one into a 2/2 isn't really worth it. But in limited where their whole deck is supported by their bomb p1p1 killing it can really make a difference. Still worse than most other removal but if you're at the end of pack 3 and all you've picked up so far is 1 murder it's probably worth it to grab it.

Thanks for all the Duskmourn Draft content! Went 6-1 with a U/W Enchantments Aggro deck in my first draft and it’s partially due to you telling us over and over how good Tunnel Surveyor is!

Commune with Evil is actually fantastic in any graveyard based deck

I think Rampaging Soulrager is actually a strong card in U/R. If course you need the rooms to support him but that's the prerequisite to being U/R anyway. The Rooms deck is kind of a midrange value/tempo deck, so having it be a 1/4 blocker early on is fine. The condition of having two open doors is very easy and plays well on tempo with Glassworks or the 1-mana bounce room.

Ive never missed with Living Phone interestingly enough. A lot of value 2 pwr value in UW decks from 3cmc all the way to 5cmc🤔

Imo Living Phone is not trash in the good deck, same for Erratic Apparition. Ofc they are not that great so i don't mind seeing them in that list

Totally agreed with this list... until Eken (#1 mythic in premier draft) destroyed my high-win UG Manifest deck! It really is a one-card counter to so many of the archetypes in this format if your eerie deck can just survive. At the very least, it eats a removal, because in the right deck, it's a 1-cost must-kill. I definitely thought that it was a liability against delirium, but if Eken can see success to the level of dropping it turn one on-the-play and continuing to win, I think it might deserve a second look!

Cmiiw but based on what i read here, eken might be the name of an mtga player (specifically the rank 1 mythic for limited ranked at time of op's post), and the 1-drop op is referring to is the mill crab?
