@charl1121 Жыл бұрын
You mean Whitney and Man O' War, lol!
@nickjohnson811 Жыл бұрын
@@charl1121 lol indeed - Secretariat ran every distance faster than Man O' War. Don't try to make the excuse that Secretariat had better technology - his records still stand half a century later. As for Morissette - she sings a much wider range of songs than Whitney did, in 4 languages, and excels at all of them. She also has a much wider vocal range than Whitney - 5 octaves and 4 notes opposed to 3 octaves and 2 notes. Whitney was a great singer, but clearly more limited.
@charl1121 Жыл бұрын
@nickjohnson811 First, horse racing has changed, so naturally, Secretariat is the best horse of the LAST 50 years. But, Man O' War was better and that is that, period. Oh, and Man O' War ran 1 5/8th faster in record time. Secretariat carried a measly 117 pounds in the Canadian Int., in which the mare, Dahlia even ran faster. As for Morissette, she's very good, but Whitney will never be equalled. But it's still a free country and people can believe what they want.

Vocal Type: Lyric Soprano Vocal Range: Four Octaves Two notes (C3-E7) Vocal Pluses:Morissette Amon is known for a vocal range that spans four octaves and two notes. She has an extensive, connected range, allowing her to transition into other registers smoothly. Capable of riffs and runs throughout the voice and holding notes without wavering, her skill suggests good breath control and overall technique. Known for her "squeaks" and intentional vocal breaks, the Diva applies them both when jumping between octaves and for artistic effect. Edit: Her range now is 5.7 octaves (B2-Bb5-D8)!! Edit: woah thanks for the 1.5k hehe Edit: Happy 1.7k❤️ Edit: We're now 1.8k💜

Sony records, capitol records or virgin records and etc.) then some big sponsors for a concert tour🙏🏼🎶🎶🎵🎵 But somebody has to help her find those people so she and her team can be guided appropriately..🎶🎶 Time is ticking. 🎤🎵🎶

enervon cee She’s an inspiration to those who lost in singing competitions. You don’t have to win to fill the Araneta Coliseum or the Alonte Stadium. A singer is made when she already has his/her faire share of bashers. After all bashers don’t stone those who are not bearing fruit. Bashers are a confirmation that you’ve made it. By the way, why do you keep on bashing her and who is your idol? Me, I don’t bash but I praise those who are deserving. Bashing is negative energy and shows that somebody is low life and bitter. Constant bashing makes the basher sick.

Just to add an observation - 6 months late - from a Filipino who grew up in the Philippines and now lives in the US: Where the US has day time talk shows (or whatever non-cable shows play during the day), the Philippines has "variety shows" (that's what we call them) where artists actually sing and dance. This is regular daily or weekly TV, not big venue events. People grow up singing. I recently made this observation, the lack of such shows in the US, and how it would be nice for music to be available so readily and not just on talent shows.

Its easy for us to admire western singers but when it comes to ours, our standards become a bit higher. Maybe because we have been underestimated too much by other nations in other areas, we can't settle for less or being just at par with others at the areas where we can excell- and that's singing. That's just my two cents.

Like seriously, Filipinos love to sing so much that it's quite annoying sometimes because instead of hearing the singer sing, you'll hear the crowd singing...but if you are that damn good of a singer, you will make Filipinos listen to you and appreciate the music coming out of your lips and heart. Good Job Morissette. Love the song but definitely prouder to be a Filipino because of you!

She starts the song by getting everything in place. Lifted the mic stand and place them in front. First live concert I saw her there were these note stands that for some reason they placed in the middle of the stage. The Queen motioned the band to wait while she dragged all of these so she will have a direct connection between her and her audience. This is one of the set ups. She made sure that when she became the song that she sings, she sings for each one of the audience. That is one of her many talents. Here, she looked left, then right as if to time for the next verse of the song. Her beautiful hair flying as she does this but always gravitating towards the mic stand. Then, she gets lost as she hits the highest note on the finale as we got lost with her. My best part of a Queen Mori song is when she sings the very first note, my worst is when she hits the last note when the song will be over! She is a gift to us!
