Roland, I cannot every forget the atrocity that occurred in the United States Capitol Building. I watched the mayhem on television and my heart broke into a million pieces for the sworn police officers, who was attempting to defend the Capitol, but was overwhelmed by the mob. And I can never ever forget the fear on the senators faces as they were rushed to safety after Trump's mob gain entry into the Capitol. It was a horrific day, and it brought tears to my eyes knowing that if Trump's hoodlums captured Nancy Pelosi, or any other democratic leader, they wouldn't have hesitated to end a life. Officer Eugene is a true hero; he actually saved the senators. The January 6 insurrection/coup is forever etched in stone in the history of the United States of American. And Trump and his spineless Republicans followers cannot ever erase what happened by trying to pull the wool over our eyes or paint a different narrative with their lies. He will go down in history as the worst President of our nation in the United States!!!

I mean, if these people got to congress and did the horrible things they were chanting, what options did our political and justice systems have after that? Would that really have kept him from being removed? Do we get a congress that is less or more corrupt? Do we change federal voting standards for the better or worse? I only ask all of that because it's seems that after all that happened that day, our system has not improved with regard to fairness.
