this reminds me of my Lusitano stallion, Ludo... He died 3 years ago in a car accident and I got away with a mild concussion and broken ankle. He was my only friend and I was suffering from depression at the time. you can imagine what I felt when I woke up in a hospital bed and my father told me he hadn't made it... I'd do anything to have him back.

Thank you :) Copy of another comment: Tuxedo passed away in the accident and Eliza was in coma. Everything that happens after the accident is basically Eliza's mind. When she finally wakes up and go back to the stable her mother has bought a therapist horse to her. As Eliza has selective amnesia she probably wouldn't remember Tuxedo but the new horse has his eyes, something she could never forget. So the horse in the end was Tuxedo but in another body and they got a second chance together :) Hope it clears it up!
