I just watched all your 8 days voyage in Taiwan. that seems a nice trip although some parts are a bit pity. If you have a plan to visite Taiwan again in the future, please contact me without hesitate, I could give you a deeper introduce of Taiwan, culinary culture, authentic taiwanese vegan food, and glad to give you a hospitality next time you travel in Taiwan. Looking forward to seeing you. Take care.

I've really loved this whole travelog series! Thank you so much for sharing your trip with us. I would love to see a similar "travelog" style series that's set in your own town. I've never been to Japan, and I think it would be so cool to see a Japanese town from the perspective of someone who's a local. (And I always find that, when I introduce my hometown to visitors, I learn things about it that even I never knew before, so maybe it would be fun for you?)

I'm from Taiwan and I subscribe to your channel a few months ago, I'm very glad that you came to Taiwan, some places I've never been, it's really interesting and I'm enjoying these videos, thank you sharing your travel, hope you will drink bubble tea with soy milk next time. :)

Vegetarian food is a strength in Taiwan mainly for religion, vegan is still relative new but it's fun to explore some options in a regular shop. Most buffet have a wide variety so some food may contain dairy and even egg. Make sure you know the keyword and ask. When I travelled to Japan I learned how to say "I do not eat meat and fish" in Japanese, and my favorite was tofu cuisine in Kyoto. The best veggie sushi I had, however, was in a regular sushi shop in San Francisco I just walked by, that's the fun of being a tourist, always exploring.
Ah I was really enjoying you trip but onto the next one soon. In the meantime you can inspire people with your cooking ♡

Actually you can get drinks like soymilk tea (which called 豆漿紅茶 or 紅茶豆漿 xd in chinese) in sooo many places even in the breakfast restaurant!! Soymilk is a very usual option and there are always tons of choices you can try in Taiwan's tea shop!! I hope you can try when the next time you come here :)

Loved these videos. I wish there were more! To be honest, there are a lot of places that do bubble milk tea as well as they do in taiwan, so don't be too sad you missed out. Its just usually a lot cheaper in Taiwan than most other places :D

What's a pity you didn't get the bubble tea here QQ. Supposed you spend too much time on transportation. When you come to Taiwan next time, it will be nice to go Maokong and have tea time!

That's sad you couldn't try bubble tea! But can't you just order the tea versions without milk? I really enjoyed this series, you should do travel vlogs often!

I also didn't manage to get bubble tea during my last visit in China and felt so sad :(
there is some animal liberation promotion place that you should visit next time! because most of the place you went i believe are some how regional related, they dont put garlic on anything, that isn't cool! ;)

I am Taiwanese, fantastic video ! but I don' t think 春水堂 is that famous in Taiwan (or is it the translation problem ? I watch the video with English sub) anyway ~ u must get a bubble tea next time u come ~
That restaurants have opened, but can't go to the toilet.😱😱😱😱

I'm sad that you didn't get to have some bubble tea before leaving! Oh and $385 for a stainless steel bubble tea straw...is that a typo?!?!?
@peacefulcuisine8 жыл бұрын
It's NT$ not US$.
@N_zoss8 жыл бұрын
Ah...that makes sense. I'm an American so I automatically assumed that the $ sign applied to the USD and completely ignored the NT for some reason. Lol typical stereotypical American behavior on my part.
茶湯會 and 天仁 both have some tea with soymilk options *u* and they use higher quality ingredients too!

I'll be in tokyo beginning of september. can you recommend some nice organic stores that also sell vegan stuff? if not i'm fine with only tofu and vegetables ! I know there's a lima store and some vegan places to eat thanks to happycow guide
@peacefulcuisine8 жыл бұрын
If you are in Tokyo on weekends, go to this farmers market. you can walk from Shibuya or Aoyama station. facebook.com/farmersmarket.at.unu It would be so much fun;)
@KawaiiVegs8 жыл бұрын
+Peaceful Cuisine many thanks ! Do you know also such markets but during the week ? I intend to go to ameyokocho because it's closer to nishi-arai (bound with ueno station)
It would be very nice if you could do a video about how you came to be vegan and your personal reason, since I know that there are a lot of different reasons to going vegan, but everyone seems to focus on different aspects like e.g. health, animals, environment... Might be helpful for people that are new to this lifestyle :)
