For those who aren't aware this is actually part of a series of articles called "Origins" which is a storyline / Timeline in The Backrooms Wikidot canon. Paradise 772 is the final article in the storyline and it is basically the finale where humankind and Entitykind alike fight off the "God" of The Backrooms which has collapsed all civilizations in The Backrooms all except for a resistance called "The Syndicate" made up of what remains of the fallen groups. The God of The Backrooms is also the creator of Paradise 772 and others like it. I highly recommend reading the series as it is one of the best modern series and it is now completed.

Being folded and unfolded and changed by Paradise 772 could potentially explain the source of entities. That they were initially regular humans that have been trapped there so long that they were fundamentally altered and twisted, then escaped (or were released) into other levels. This one reminds me of an idea I had a while ago of one called the "Backlots" basically an outdoor area that contained most, if not all of the enclosed backroom levels but they can't be accessed from there, only seen as rough wooden backs and boxes as you would find while on a movie set and looking at the backs of facades.

Not the case. Some entities are like creator gods and have been around for eons. At least one of them is believed to have been around before the Backrooms existence. Some entities, like Smilers and Partygoers, come into existence from eating a human, and then that human basically getting respawned as said entity. Some entities like Wretches and the man faced dogs, are people that have gone insane and/or have mutated from toxic environments and substances in the Backrooms. Some entities literally just pop into existence out of seemingly nothing like quantum particles.

Kind of like a prototype. and I'm not saying they ALL came from there, but it's still possible early versions of some could have been inadvertently (or intentionally) crated there.

I like to think of "The Backrooms" as the cosmic information storage facility. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transferred/transformed. Thoughts, dreams, imagination, nightmares, even hallucinations, are all thermodynamic reactions. Meaning when they occur, it uses up energy. So that energy has to go somewhere. This is why even high up in the official Backrooms levels most places seem so familiar. Because it is. It's places and objects you've seen in the background. Junk memories that your brain ignores until that information is absolutely needed, like in a life and death situation. The Backrooms only "place" that is both real and fake at the same time. A place right smack between reality and fiction. The gap between mind and matter.

Hello, I would like to you the backrooms level $$$. Level is a category “&” the likelihood of encountering an entity is higher. To get in this level you must trap a monster in a corrupted trap. This level contains a hospital, but not any hospital, this hospital has 7 rooms that each contain a challenge that you must do to move on. The first challenge consists of telling you to beat a random level that’s odd and is higher then category 3. Beating this will send you to room 2. This rooms sends you to a category 6 where you have to Kill a monster to escape. You will be provided with 3 almond water, a gun, 5 rounds of bullets, and a flashlight light. After beating that room you move on to room 3 where you must restart and get back to that level in 48 hours or you’ll be jump scared and fall back to the void where you’ll soon burn a way dude to the harsh temperatures. Now moving on to room 4 this level is special as you can choose to do it or not. If you choose to skip you’ll lose half of the things your carrying if you do this level you get 2x what you already have. I can’t go furthering as in no one dared to do the challenge. And for how did never came out. Room 5,6,and 7 are mostly the same just making the challenges a lot harder. This is as far as I know of because this level gives you a timer that is an unknown days and each time no one’s beat the timer. If you some how beat it you’ll be sent to the front rooms ( reality) or a level that’s never been discovered just that all I know about it is that will send you to the front rooms

I’m convinced the Backrooms are a large computer. It would explain the specific number of the bottom level where everything is constantly glitching and nothing coherent can be tangible, for one. Another instance is the levels are comparable to websites in a way. Level 0 is the default site that a majority of people come to when they no clip here, but some sites are corrupted or unsafe to be on. Also the entities are antivirus protection software that targets humans, or viruses.

I suddenly had the idea/realization that the Backrooms almost feels AI-generated. Which could explain why everything feels so familiar based on the information we feed it, but it can't exactly replicate anything, or it can get really close to doing so, but something always feels off. Like with AI-generated images, it may look very real, but something about it just looks strange. And it gives us an unnerving feeling. It'd be a cool concept!
