@@nintynine9693 May be 3 month's back. In Karnataka,a farmer and some of his friends, in the farmers attire, visited a showroom of Mahindra and enquired the price of a particular model of car. The salesman said that people not having money are asking the price of a model costing 10 lakhs(or something to that effect).The man asked the salesman whether he would get the vehicle, if they came with the money by the evening. Salesman told him to come back with the money(He never expected that to happen). The group went out. Started a crowd funding. Collected Rs 10lakhs and by evening came back to the same showroom to collect the vehicle. Staff in the show room were taken aback and started telling that today is Friday evening, RTO office will not work on Saturday and Sunday and in effect saying that the vehicle cannot be delivered on that day. There was a fracas in the showroom. Finally the group left the showroom saying that they no longer want their vehicle. This was well covered by the national media and even caught the eye of Mahindra Chairman Sri Anand Mahindra who tweeted his unhappiness over this incident. A few days later, executives of Mahindra Motors called on the complainant at his residence, offered their apologies and handed over a brand new vehicle of his choice. I don't know whether the car was given for free or at a price.

The problem I find with this kind of short films is that their message is convey that person's worth does not lie in his looks/possessions. But typically these stories end by portraying the rejected person in the exact same manner they are trying to convey that is not required to be a respectable person. In order to show the rejected person in good light, they will at last show him with great wealth or looks😏😏. I wish to see a short film in which rejected person would still be a poor or ugly in the end but still earns the respect of those who mocked him, say by doing a commendable moral deed or helping them despite being treated badly by them
