My Christmas lights are on 24/7 and don't go off until the tree comes down. Nothing has ever happened. This confirms that Jessii isn't lying, and she isn't trying to make you hate Christmas. Edit: Also don't worry, Jessii, Chainmail still happens on Snapchat with my friends all the time. I never re-send them to anyone because I personally find them annoying when I think I got a text but it's just chainmail so I constantly have to message people that I don't do chainmail so I tell them don't send them to me unless they don't care about getting unadded. Also I don't have a chimney. And here in Wisconsin, it's also EXTREMELY dark in the morning in the winter. So I can relate. Love you, Jess!

I think that they are mantis egg sacs that have hatched. We had a Christmas tree with one of those on a few years ago and I didn’t want to pick it because I assumed it was part of the tree and I didn’t want to risk it being a vital part of the tree and hurting the tree. It must have been the perfect humidity in our house because on New Year’s Eve we woke up to a ton of baby mantises all around the living room where we kept the tree. We found out that baby mantises can’t survive outside in the winter so we had to adopt 100 praying mantises and release them by the time the weather started getting warmer. It fits the description almost perfectly except that I think they were hatched since they didn’t mention mantises.

So the creepiest chain mail I ever got went by “Send this e-mail to 10 strangers and if at least one doesn’t reply, your in danger. Don’t look in your mirror or in any reflection of yourself unless they all reply. So I sent it to 10 strangers, and forgot what it said. I was taking a selfie and was obviously looking in my camera. And it wasn’t until I saw a person standing behind me. I screamed and turned my phone off. It has definitely changed me and is very scary to think about it. Yes I still look in the mirror. But every time I do, it still reminds me of the terror I felt in my face.
