Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! I’m glad I could chat with you during your visit. Removing the ink pump can get pretty tricky, so I’ll be making a video to walk through the process - it’s a bit too involved to explain fully here. I’ve already made a few videos on stripping this printer down to its core, and I’ll add another one soon to cover the remaining steps. I appreciate your support, and if you haven’t subscribed yet, I’d love to have you join the channel - subscribers get faster responses, and I’m aiming to hit 100k! If you need quicker help, feel free to email support@bchtechnologies.com. Thanks again!

Will this work on my Epson 3880? Sad that my life situation has prevented me from doing any of my printing, ...I'm afraid to even touch my printer as i'm sure it must be all dried up. Thank you for your help!!

I converted my printer from DTF back to a regular printer. But two of the inks won’t pull through. I’ve used a syringe so there’s No clog. Any advice?

Thanks for watching and sharing your question! It sounds like you're dealing with residual DTF ink buildup in the printhead mesh. Since DTF ink is thicker, switching back to regular ink can lead to supply issues if the mesh isn’t fully clear. Try removing the dampers and carefully cleaning the mesh to ensure there’s no blockage. After that, make sure to properly prime the printhead. When parking the printhead, turn the printer on and let it naturally settle on the capping station. If ink isn’t pulling through, use a syringe and gently draw 1.5 ml of air from the waste line until you feel slight resistance. If no resistance is felt, the printhead might not be parked correctly or there could be a seal leak. If there’s full resistance, the capping station may be clogged. After drawing up to 2 ml, hold for 10 seconds and run the printer’s standard cleaning, but avoid heavy cleanings for at least 12 hours.
